1. Get Access to Only Sheets 2.0

First things first, you’ll need to get your hands on the tool itself. Currently, there’s a lifetime access deal available at a promotional price, so make sure to check out the Only Sheets 2.0 deal here: Start Selling Your Sheets Today! Lifetime members of Better Sheets might even get it for free.

2. Prepare Your Google Sheet

You’ll need a Google Sheet (or Doc, Slide, or Drive folder) that you want to sell. This is the digital product you’re offering. Make sure it’s polished and ready for your customers.

3. Copy the Only Sheets Template

Once you have access to Only Sheets 2.0, you’ll copy its Google Sheet template to your own Google Drive. This template contains the Apps Script code that makes everything work. It’s important that you have ownership access to this copied sheet.

4. Deploy the Web App

You’ll go into the Apps Script editor (usually found under “Extensions” in Google Sheets) and deploy the script as a web app. This generates a unique URL that Only Sheets will use to communicate with your payment processor.

5. Connect to Your Payment Processor

This is where you link up your sales platform. Does Only Sheets 2.0 Work?

  • Gumroad: If you’re using Gumroad, you’ll paste the web app URL into your Gumroad product’s “Ping” URL setting.
  • Stripe: For Stripe, you’ll use the web app URL as a webhook endpoint.
  • Zapier: If you’re using Zapier or another platform that supports webhooks, you’ll set up a Zap to send information (like the buyer’s email) to your Only Sheets 2.0 web app URL.

6. Configure Sharing Settings

Within the Only Sheets 2.0 template you copied, you’ll specify which of your Google Sheets (or other files) should be shared when a purchase is made. You can also decide if you want to create a unique copy for each buyer.

That’s generally it! The process is fairly intuitive, and the creator often provides detailed video instructions for each payment processor.
