Main Sections
- Create New/Game Library: This is often the first place you’ll go. Here, you’ll find a wide variety of interactive templates for games and quizzes. You can browse through categories like arcade games, luck-based games (spin wheels, scratch cards), AI quizzes, and puzzle games. There are currently over 70 games available.
- Dashboard: This gives you an overview of your existing games and their performance. You can quickly see the views and leads collected for each game you’ve created.
- Manage Workspace: If you’re working with multiple clients or different projects, you can create and manage separate workspaces to keep things organized.
- Billing/Account/Affiliate: These sections handle your subscription details, account settings, and information related to any affiliate programs.
- Shopify Widgets (Upcoming): This feature is in the works and promises to make it even easier to integrate Playzo games into Shopify stores, potentially with banners and floating widgets for discounts.
Game Editing Interface
Once you select a game to create or modify, you enter the editor, which provides a real-time interactive preview of your game. This is incredibly helpful because you can see exactly how your changes will look to players as you make them.
Key elements you’ll typically find in the editor include:
- Game Screen Tab: This is where you customize the core visuals and mechanics of your game. You can change backgrounds, upload or modify item images, adjust the number of items, and control overall game settings.
- Lead Screen Customization: This section lets you design the lead capture form. You can customize the background, choose which form fields to include (name, email, phone number, address, date of birth), and decide if the lead screen appears before or after the game.
- End Screen Configuration: Here, you set up what users see after they complete the game. You can create different outcome cases based on scores (e.g., a “you win” screen with a coupon code or a “try again” message). You can also customize the call-to-action buttons and choose how the score is displayed.
- Configure Tab: This is where you control broader settings for your game, such as enabling or disabling the start and lead collection screens, and arranging their order. You’ll also find options for:
- Custom Domains: Host your game on your own domain to maintain consistent branding.
- Whitelisted Domains: Allows access to the game within an iframe on specific websites.
- Webhooks: Send lead data to other tools.
- Email Notifications: Set up alerts for when new leads are collected.
- Game Mechanics and Audio: Adjust the game’s difficulty, add custom sound effects, and background music.
- Loading Elements: Customize the loading icon and its color.
- Analytics Section: Provides real-time data on your game’s performance, including views, completions, average duration, and collected leads. You can export this data for deeper analysis.
The dashboard and editing interface are designed to be user-friendly, allowing you to focus on creating engaging content rather than struggling with complex technicalities.
